To Eradicate The Coronavirus
The number of people infected with coronavirus was about 3 million worldwide and more than 15,000 in Japan.
In the current situation of a pandemic like no other in the past, the burden on medical institutions and governments has reached its limit,
and cooperation throughout the society is essential.
At Loki Consulting, we will work with governments and medical institutions to help people in Japan
and the world receive the care they need to eradicate the coronavirus.
Loki Consulting has carried out many projects, but one thing they have in common is that even a valuable business cannot succeed on its own. No matter how good a business is, it cannot reach the people in need without the right decisions and connections. It is the same with the medical field. Even if we have excellent technologies and measures, we cannot reach people without effective promotion.
Now that the world is facing the hardships of the novel coronavirus, we must maximize the businesses needed by the people. We support excellent medical and welfare projects around the world and work to ensure that those in need have the appropriate treatments.
SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) – Goal3
“Good Health and Well-Being”
The United Nations has set the SDGs as an international goal for a sustainable and better world.
Goal 3 of the SDGs is our mission, and we strive to help our business improve, ensure and promote the health and well-being for all at all ages.
Realization of the Universal Health Coverage
We aim to realize the Universal Health Coverage (UHC), which includes safe, effective, high-quality, inexpensive essential medicines and vaccines for everyone.
We will provide access to technology systems, high-quality medicines and vaccines to 20% of the population, especially in Japan.
In addition, we will support research and development related to the eradication of coronavirus in three countries on the African continent. In the current coronavirus situation, we will provide antibody test kit samples to the Government of Guinea and the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research in Ghana so that everyone can receive the necessary care.
Provision of coronavirus antibody test kits (for research)
As one of our medical businesses, we provide coronavirus antibody test kits (for research).
The antibody test kit allows visual confirmation of IgM / IgG antibodies within 15 minutes, and there is no need to wait for the test results conducted by PCR method at hospitals. In addition, since the results can be detected on the 10th day of infection or on the 3rd day of onset, it is possible to get prompt responses. A positive IgM antibody result indicates a recent infection, and a positive IgG antibody result indicates a longer-term or previous infection. Since this antibody test kit can detect IgG and IgM antibodies simultaneously, suspicious cases can be evaluated more effectively.
However, OTC is not permitted, and it is necessary to obtain a certificate from the PMDA (Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency) in order to introduce the kits to Japan. We are collaborating with multiple medical institutions to promote joint research and introduction of antibody test kits into the medical field.
Partner Hospital: Sagamihara Kyodo Hospital
We will continue to work in partnership with national agencies and companies to provide medical care and well-being to people around the world.
As long as no one in the world has access to health care, our activities will never end.
By collaborating with more medical institutions and providing necessary services,
we aim to reduce the medical burden and overcome the current situation as soon as possible.
